How do I work out how large a cassette I can have on my bike. 105 deraullier that currently has an 12-27 on it (50/34) at the front. I'd like to go with an 11-32 but am I going to run into shifting problems?
This does depend to an extent on frame and hanger geometry as well as derailleur "take up".
My 105 works ok with an 11-32 on my Ribble but on my specialized the upper jockey wheel hits the 32 sprocket and no amount of b screw adjustment can prevent it.
