I know very little about most areas of policy activity, but in those very few areas that I do know I've been very shocked at the absolutely appalling nature of the 'evidence' that people accept and use.

Obviously, many people promoting it will be aware of that as their real aim is privatisation, as linked to above.

I was listening to the build up to that on Today this morning.

Sounds like bollocks really, and that a lot of people who (like Jogee, by the sound of it) played a big part in someone's murder will have their convictions quashed.

Will they have their convictions quashed or will they be downgraded to manslaughter, I find law speak difficult to understand.

Presumably, they will have to be quashed, as the judge at the original trial will not have given the jury the option of finding for the lesser charge?

They will stop being middle class long before they realise. In fact, many have already lost tangible middle-class status and their ideology is a long way from catching up to this fact.
