Yes! This drives me insane!

I used to have a search set on the key word 'Cycling' which would capture all the races.
However, now the 'Bike' Channel has started it just fills the Tivo up with all the random crap that's on that channel.
Need to go back to see if I can specify 'Cycling' AND 'Eurosport'. Or just get it to ignore the Bike channel. -

Yeah - I found that when searching for Omloop - tonnes of (what will most certainly be crap) on 'Bike'. That channel is lame.

Funnily enough I found that channel for the first time the other day and they were advertising Omloop coverage on it. Sadly I can't recall at the moment whether it said it was going to be live or not (it's listed on their UK site as Monday night!) but their Italian version suggests they have 'exclusive' rights...

Do you have any advice then?
Except the best place to buy chips and beer! -
• #5587
Oh, and I don't think those Eurosport links up-thread mean they are actually showing it either... (I seem to recall being annoyed about this last year too)
Omloop Het Nieuwsblad (Saturday, February 27)

Just need to decide what cobbles to get to. Probs one of last few sections.

Pont-Thibaut à Ennevelin or Carrefour de l’Arbre I reckon.

Skinny - on a motorbike you should easily be able to see the race three times. I have, before, in a car and am going to be trying to do so again this year. First stop, the Arrenberg, then a section that runs along the motorway nearby (can't remember which section but can figure it our easily enough later), then Carrefour de l'arbre. Parking can be tricky in a car and there are a lot of other people making a swift exit at the same time to get to the next secteur but that shouldn't affect you.

Just saw the Omloop advert on the Bike Channel again and it is being shown live in the UK @ 13:15 on Saturday.

Take your own booze! We headed to the Carrefour de l’Arbre the year before last expecting big screens and loads of booze. Unfortunately the latter was severely lacking apparently due to lairy fans in previous years. We ended up schlepping back down the route to the nearest village...which actually turned out really well, full bar of locals with a big screen. I'd recommend that too for the first part of the race...
If it's dry we'll be riding down from Oudenaarde to watch this year.
