Around 0850 this morning there was a tipper truck stopped at the southbound exit of St George's Circus with both police and ambulance in attendance. A policeman was moving a crushed bike as I rode past.

No sign of the rider but whoever you are I hope any injuries are minor and you heal fast.

So glad the rider largely escaped this one. The junction design there is extremely hazardous and will have to be altered soon.

There were engineering types taking photos with Ipads this morning.

The approach from Borough Road for traffic all turning left to E&C conflicts totally with cycle lane traffic all going straight on/right.
