TBH, I used road ones on my Cannondale and found the rake and clearance more than adequate for purpose. I guess it depends on your frame and your useage. 35deg rake is pretty naughty!
The problem with the eBay ones aswell; they now do this bollocks "international shipping" shit which means there are "minimum order costs" and "import duties" already added on.
When you get to checkout, they're $300, almost double the sellers quote!I've emailed asking for a workaround and despite the seller saying he opted out of international shipping service etc there seems no way around the auto min order and auto import few additions nowerdays.
Unless that seller is just a lier/retard as they're the only things I've looked at buying from the states on eBay in a long time.
I bought my last two pairs of WoundUp's from the states via eBay and they worked out about $150 a pair.
Didn't get charged a penny of import and none of this shipping bollocks. That was a few years ago though.

Hm I managed to get a sneaky workaround a few weeks ago with a USA seatpost, but that's outside the international shipping program (under £26 so I hope no charges)
I happen to know somebody in the USA if needed. The last Zephyr was still pretty £££ when it sold a few weeks ago.
The original fork rake is 28. It has a All City fork now, which is nice but even by my non weenie standards very heavy.
It's this one here (original fork on it) https://lfgss.microcosm.app/api/v1/files/6dcacee56fbd8552f23f29fd299bc62c11e20597.jpg
@Dick I've been watching on e-bay too, but all I can find is road ones for £164+P&P
For $160 it may be worth it for me to get them in via a mate of mine in the USA.
