Thanks!
New crap:
NOS Campy lockring for the 'mental Rigi' + an unknown 15t cog. Looks beefy and raw, so I'll just assume its 'eastern European' for the sake of the build.
You know what it is ;)

The Rigi collection is complete :)

That's mental!!
Beautiful collection!! -

strip it and chrome it DEFFO

That would cost ~300GBP, which is wayyyy too expensive for me atm. Besides, this is how it was painted before the ugly ecru:

excuses excuses!!!!! chrome it to match the one on the last page. You know it's right. You'd have probably the best set of matching bikes evz.

New frames:
The last one will get a new fork - either a matching one, or this one will be repainted. I might also score another Wicher frameset.

Gather round for a romantic story. This is the first track frameset I've bought. I've rescued it from a shed almost exactly 2 years ago and paid 10 quid for it. I've immediately sold it because I thought it would be too big for me. Since then it had 3 owners and it's finally with me, hopefully forever. As for the frame itself - it's a rather unique Romet Wicher, mainly because the geometry isn't shit. A bit rusty on the outside, just like I bought it first. Generally, not much has changed over 2 years, someone must've just polished it.

One of the first OSCA frames made in Poland. These were famous for their ability to fall apart when least expected. I was looking for an original fork for quite some time, and recently it turned out that og forks were rebuilt romet ones. This is the clearance:

Bunch of new stuff
A pretty cool Romet Super, year 1985. Originally I thought it's size 60, so didn't really bother asking about it. A couple of weeks ago it turned out it's 58 so naturally I had to have it. Somewhat rare.
Road Rigi has finally got a proper fork. Yayyy!
Probably the weirdest Osca I own. Modified from a cheap touring frameset, it's got rear drop outs made of uhh crap? The front mech hanger is made from chipped sheet metal, the fork has zero rake and zero crown (just look at this shit). Also, the front mech cable braze-on is an allen screw brazed onto the bb shell and the seat tube looks like it has a seam on the inside. I absolutely love this piece of junk, 100% Cazzaniga.
This is a Rychtarski. Pretty normal in comparison to the above Osca. However, the tubes were ovalized by the man himself.

That paintjob on the romet, again. Damn I love it. That collection of yours is getting sweeter everytime.
And first dibs on the rychtarsky.
Congrats man.

Just read the entire thread + the bio bike one and I want mooooar! Definitely among the most unique and entertaining threads on here. In all fairness, official free world build is probably right up there albeit in a very different way, which is not to say that I don't have respect for the man...

That OSCA is cool

If you ever land one of these in a big size (58) I would be happy to take it of your hands :)
I think they're supposed to work that way :D
And thanks! I know a guy who's selling his Romet Super in a much better condition, but the size is 59 or something.
