  • Yeah - if I really sit back and think, I'm being particularly shitty about this.

    I really hammered it up and down Swaines last night and despite only doing about 15km really pushed the brakes as hard as I could, and they reacted exactly They should.

    They weren't super sharp like the 9000's on the Trek, which ironically I think have got sharper since really dialling them in with carbon rims, but they just worked. Well. And stopped me.

    I'm going to try and really fine tune them before going out tonight, but I think I'm being unnecessarily picky.

    I think I'm also going to scrap the 160rotor on the front and see if a 140 helps me dial in a little better.

    Ultimately I've only ridden the bike once for 15km, so I should probably give it a bit of time and a proper road test.

    The good news, is that once you refitted the housing with compressionless and solved the BB issues, the modulation gap between your 9000 and the disc brakes will be smaller.
