Some do, some don't.
I just go with a good dose of WD40 down the tubes and through the small breather holes.
But i also remove the seatpost if leaving the bike unused or actually make sure it isn't full of water after a dirty race or i have jet washed it (instant death for full suspension pivot bearings and sram BB's)
