LFGSS weekly photography challenge

I think you would also need sub-comments for each answer in the same style as stack exchange as otherwise people's comments on the submissions would get re-ordered away from the subject and the thread would read a bit odd.

Threading already exists (the whole "in reply to" stuff), so that would just be used to display child comments in situ.

Though to get this out the door this week... I would just ignore that for now and come back to it in the future.

As has been noted this really pushes people to shoot more and step up their game!

Been scratching my head as well about how to make the voting more easy on the eye and more, well, simple.
We definitely need a master-post or subforum with just all the images so one can browse them, and a better way to vote (I gathered this place loves lists, but I think in this case it's just horrible).

If @velocio gives us search that returns attachments then we can have a single link that returns all of the entries for any given hashtag.

Once all entries are in, a post could be made with that link in, pretty trivially.

Pending anything more sophisticated with polls, that link plus my hashtag voting idea should keep the thread a bit more sensible.

Particularly if people put that link into any voting posts. Therefore the latest (ish) post on voting day would include it.

has:attachment is a search param.

What you don't have is the ability to change how search results are displayed, and they are not displayed with attachments for obvious reasons (search would be unusable).

Yep. That's what I meant: a search that shows the attachments in the list of results.

Maybe if the search uses the has:attachment clause it could display them? Or even a new show:attachment clause, to keep it semantically clean.

Enough with hashtags. The current voting should he done in a new thread with the photos and titles only attached. I can do it if @Vesalius cant. Then its pretty simple feom there. Each one sais its preference and then we count the votes.
