  • Look very good, know if it support Fuji RAW?

  • It works with .RAF files from my Fuji XF1.

I've only used it for one-off editing though so not sure if it stores the edits like lightroom or not.

  • Be interested to hear your thoughts!

  • Corbyn looks like he probably shouldn't be driving...

What is it about the X-Pro 2 you don't like?

  • Wow, actually a proper apps, rather than a browser-based one, nice find!

Was a little worries as I went for a Chromebook Pixel over a MacBook.

  • Yeah the screen is pretty useless and I get what you mean about vulnerable. I loved my D3, it was amazing, so much was right about it... But times change and these thing don't perform the same as they use too.

The autofocus is better thats one thing, but the body just isn't as meaty and robust as the others felt.

Ive ordered the nikon grip which i was hoping would be here already considering I paid for it last wednesday, as usual calumet keen until they have your money. Hopefully that gives it a bit more substance.

One thing that i fuckin hate tho is on my d3 you could have half press for focus and back button for focus, on the D750 you can have one or the other, what an absolute crock of shit...

Buffer wise I got the 95mb's sandisk and it clears the buffer pretty rapid. Although 800 shots out a 64gb is worrying in raw, least storage is cheap and cards are just as cheap.

I haven't used it properly yet on a job but from what I have done its pretty good so far, hopefully I won't regret this in 6 months... or else i'll be selling it and getting a D4/D4s.

  • "But times change and these thing don't perform the same as they use too."
    really?

  • these are amazing, where were the first 3 taken?

  • Yeah I found my D3 wasn't as good as it use to be. Autofocus missed shots I'm guessing through usage over the years and in lowlight it wasn't as good but I think that was more because I had used a D4 and some other stuff on different jobs so had higher expectations.

  • I figured it was mostly an expectation thing, it's weird how a camera that was the bee's ass when new has now become cat's knees, or some such.

  • Yeah totally I mind when the D3 came out and I first got it, I couldn't believe the shots I was getting in lowlight with it, but over the last few years Ive steadily become a bit like I feel that I could do better in some situations if I had a new camera that was better in lowlight... TBF tho I got a good run out the D3's. Think I got it in Jan 08, had the shutter changed a few times but it never let me down even though I soaked it and properly gave it a rough time.

  • 8 years seems very respectable for a digital.
    Here's a pic.

  • 3 from tonight. Also shot a quick 15 shot panorama which when merged was 660mb.... Lightroom and my PC didn't much like that and as cool as panoramas are they don't share very well.... no one has the right screen to view them properly.

    Sorry, not following you?

  • That train bridge is brilliant. Got a larger version?

  • Thanks very much man, full size here on Flickr https://flic.kr/p/DQA7o8

  • Taking closeups of very bright objects, light bulbs for instance, isn't going to damage a digital camera is it?

    +1 for the bridge above

  • @ItkI
Phew. It's almost like I've got some Power to photograph
