Says 'In Stock'.
Their stock control software is written by cunts. Wiggle will price match Winstanleys, and you'll have the wheel sooner from Wiggle being out of stock than you will from Winstanleys "in stock"

May is too late. I'll see if they respond to my email.
-
• #11829
Yes. I bought an 808 from Winstanleys recently, despite some dodgy experiences with them. Arrived in two days, all good.

Anyone on here riding the Frome 10 on Sunday?

Track Shiv lives
Not according to the UCI list dated 4th Feb 2016, but then neither does the Shiv TT by that measure.

Ta but not for me.

I'm pretty chuffed with 12th/100 today with a 22:13 to the winners 20:41, just need to squeeze those extra 13 seconds off and get under 22, I'm certain id have done it today if i'd geared bigger.
Anybody else racing yet?

Feb? umadbro?
-
• #11837
Oh, wait, I entered a road bike event. But I'm gonna ride out and race and ride back so it doesn't count as anything but training.
-
• #11838
I've got a road race in three weeks and am trying desperately to get into some sort of shape! probably won't do another tt for a few months.

"Road Bike Spec: No clip-ons, no disc or tri-spokes, no wheels deeper than 60mm or pointy hat, just normal sparkly sportive spec."
Mudguards aren't illegal in CTT events are they?
-
• #11840
Fairing?
-
• #11841
"The use of recumbent machines, protective shields, windbreaks or other means of reducing air resistance is prohibited."
That would ban every TT bike made so I think I'll be ok with a mudguard.
-
• #11842
Surely you're not suggesting CTT regulations are poorly written and open to abuse?
-
• #11843
No 'Pointy hat'? Kask bambio it is then. Or any other aero helmet, which is a helmet not a hat.
-
• #11844
All regs are open to abuse. I prefer the CTT's 'you know what we mean, don't take the piss' rules. I'd hate to have to worry about UCI legal shite.
-
• #11845
I've got an Evade.
I'm not trying to race this, it's just a training ride which will happen to feature 10 miles of trying to go fast in the middle of it.
My Tarmac does have 404s on it at the moment which might be too deep for the race rules although I think they're just under 60mm?
-
• #11846
IIRC 404s are 58mm. You should be fine.
-
• #11847
Ah, but if you use the 404s you will appear to be staying within a gnat's cock of the 'regulations' and be expected to go REALLY fast.
-
• #11848
It's a sporting course and I'm a heavy bastard so expectations >>>
I have a set of 'normal' wheels I could use, same as I rode PBP with. Or the OG Ksyriums are in the cupboard.
It's most likely weather dependent - if it's pissing it down, I won't be leaving the posh wheels on.
-
• #11849
You mean an unsporting course, they are unfairly biased against us natural descenders. Normal wheels will look less tryhard and justify stately progress on the lumpy bits.

Sounds like I should stick to using the Kinesis w/ guards :)
