Tightness is the new thing in cycling. Everyone is obsessed with it. Why?
People equate it with the aeros. I may be fat and lumpen, but squeeze me into an outfit like an overstuffed sausage and I will be fast, obvsly.
Practically, technical fabrics need to fit snugly to work properly e.g. wicking, insulating. But surely the obsession is about following pro trends - i.e. towards wearing almost TT-style tight aero clothing all the time.
