3. Cyclefabriken Schrøder Denmark touring frameset: *Desperate £30.00p?* - SOLD TO @user58013
4. Ratty, Noire Mystery-Thing track frameset: *NOW £15.00p?*
Built: No idea.
Frame material: Presumably steel (heavy and strong enough).
Top tube: 52cm
Seat tube: 50cm
Down tube: 60cm
Head tube: 14cm
Bottom bracket: Afink BSA - Not got round to removing the one in there yet, can leave it in if you like.
Brakes: Drilled for front and rear.
Dropouts: Horizontal track.Colour: Black
Cosmetic Condition: Scratches, somewhat large one on the right fork blade.
Structural Condition: No issues that I could find.
Background: This (and the one above) came as part of a large bicycle lot I bought at a West-London bootsale. I’ve checked Find That Bike, the Bike Register and Bike Sherpherd and it doesn’t appear to be stolen or reported missing. No need for it. One issue: Cartridge headset seems to be stuck to the fork – fork turns freely in headtube and is still usable. Not sure where the thing is from, might be East Asian in origin, might not be. Seems to be marginally better built than others from China et al that I’ve come across in the past. Use it as a ratty pub beater or as a post-apocalyptic melee weapon when Kevin Costner’s Waterworld knocks on your door.
Really need to raise some cash here, but happy to negotiate on price and consider offers/deals. Dibs + PM seems fair? :)

I'd snap up that BobJ if it was bigger!
Nice frames glws

Cheers – I waited and waited until I found one that matched my size, turned out to be to small. Despite stumpy legs I like using 170mm cranks and the toe overlap just bothered me a little too much.

Sounds a little like my narcissistic desire to own a Columbus 'Max' tubeset, or at least a set of forks... Glws :-)

As a life rule, bikes + bike parts should always match their owner’s names :P

Very interested in that danish number. Pm'd

• #8
Dibs Bob Jackson. Pm'd. With kind regards.

Dibs on schroder is what I meant to say....
-
• #10
Potential Dibs have been called on the Job Jackson (aside: anyone with an immature sense of humour ever sniggle at Bob Jackson’s initials?), and the Schrøder too.
The Dolan and the unbranded black fixie are still at large.

The Bob Jackson is lovely and a good price too, GLSW

Also interested in the schroder if user58013 doesn't take it...

Hi Guys,
Apologies for not updating the thread sooner. Something nice albeit unexpected occurred over the weekend and it became a far busier affair than I had hoped.
The Bob Jackson has been claimed by @f1s pending collection.
The Schrøder has been claimed by @user58013 pending pics of the fork - which I have included below.I’ll keep everyone updated as to whether either of these frames end up back on the market, and in the interim, the Dolan and Black track frame sets are still up for grabs. Make me an offer! :)

You’ll be the first to know! :)

• #18

Thread update:
Bob Jackson now sold to @f1s (I look forward to seeing the full build and doing loops in Hyde Park)! - Apologies to all those on the BJ dibs list, hope that you find your next BJ just round the corner! (also not a phrase to be repeated out of context...)
Dolan and the unbranded black frame sets still for sale and have price reductions. Really don’t want to turn to the ‘bay or ‘umtree to make leave of these!
-
• #20
'Bump' for a decent seller, a good deal and a very happy customer!
-
• #21
Cheers @f1s !! - likewise +rep for yourself as a very decent customer!
The Dolan has a provisional dibs by @mindzioras – but have yet to hear back from them.
I really want the black frameset gone so further reduction: £15.00p O.N.O. >>>> please give it a home rather than a trip to the dump – totally ridable and built like a brick. BB shell has the frame ID number IBD FSD14 A2527 if that helps anyone identify its origin.

• #22
I'll take the Dolan frame if mindzioras backs out.
-
• #23
Wunderbar! I’m just waiting to hear back from mindzioras now so will send a PM with update either way.
-
• #24
I really want that cheap frame but it's way too small

Happy to remeasure it tomorrow in case I was wrong? Desperate to get rid of the thing but without it becoming waste/scrap.
Hello dearies,
Because of a totally irrational, somewhat impulsive and wholly self-centred commitment to purchase a lovely L’Eroica Allin frameset from @abyrnesmith (http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/281629/)– purely because it bares my initial in gold on the head tube...... I am now in dire need of money and space for my new narcissistic chariot.
Collection preferred from work near Bond St station (anytime 8am-8pm is fine) as I live out in the styx. I’m happy to make an attempt at wrapping the frames up if you’re happy to arrange postage/courier. Part 2 of the sale shall occur over in CC&M with a menagerie of parts, sometime over the weekend.
Please bare with me here – first time I’ve actually posted frames for sale (as opposed to Freecycle) so if I’ve done something wrong or you want some extra info, please shout!
These are/were all “projects" which I have slowly come round to accepting that I’ll never complete anyway and potential prospect of moving home means that they all have to go. Since these frames have come into my possession, they have all been happily kept in a dry, tepid, indoor environment:
1. Bob Jackson (Vigorelli?) track frameset: *Optimistic £150.00p?* SOLD TO @f1s
2. Terry Dolan / Chevin Cycles / Woodrup Cycles Deda ZeroUno road frameset: *Now £35.00p*
Built: Late 90s?
Frame material: Steel Dedacciai Zero Uno
Top tube: 52cm
Seat tube: 50cm
Down tube: 58cm
Head tube: 10cm
Bottom Bracket: BSA, I believe.
Brakes: Drilled for front and rear.
Gears: Has all that extra malarkey you need to fit ‘em.
Dropouts: Columbus. Vertical, I believe.
Colour(s): Abomination of white, blue, orange with black detailing + Terry Dolan, Chevin and Woodrup Cycles Decals.
Cosmetic Condition: Pretty much intact, albeit a few scratches and is somewhat grubby (I will clean it up). If you have any sense of taste and dignity, you should consider a re-spray.
Structural Condition: a singe fault – <6mm crack to the rear of the seat clamp (see pic below). Didn’t give me any issue when I rode it home from collection. I’ve been quoted £45 as a repair on this from my trusted shop in Sheffield, but moving back to London resulted in me never getting round to carting it cross-country for the treatment.
Background: Wanted to try out a Deda Zero Uno frameset as I’d been told good things about them (stiff, bombproof). Found this on eBay and the seller claimed he inherited it from his uncle. Gave me a discount due to the aforementioned crack. While plastered with “Terry Dolan”, it was custom-built by Chevin Cycles in Otley (was TD ever there?) and then finished by Woodrup Cycles of Leeds. A better road frame presented itself soon after this one and so this kept creeping down my list of priorities. A weld-er-up-er? Simpler solution might be to shorten the seat tube and use a modern clamp. I’ll also the included the headset on this one as I have no need for it.
