  • Think I paid about a fiver for Xbox 360 wireless controller adapter. Perfectly stable once you've worked the drivers out. Obviously not as good value if you don't already have a 360 wireless controller.

  • Just grabbed FO4 Season Pass on greenmangaming. There's a 20% voucher that works. In March it's jumping up in price so get on it

  • Jet Set Radio may be a cult classic, but it's ass controls make it unplayable today.

  • Unravel is quite good, my kid loves it and is actually getting to grips with the xbox controller.

  • Finished Tomb Raider, ending is OK, bit epic but lacklustre (spoiled by good ending nowadays like Bioshock Infinite).

Enjoyed it, the puzzle tomb is a lovely flashback to the OG, except it felt a lots shorter and can be solved in 5 minutes.

  • Kinda disappointed by Alien Isolation so far. Not actually got to the beast properly yet, but it all feels incredibly staged and game-y. The obviously scripted interactions with the humans feel incredibly clunky after playing something like MGS. (would go into more detail, but spoilers)

  • how far in are you?

  • First (proper) interaction with a group of humans. Mission 3?

  • Ah it's still in the hand-holding 'this is how it all works' stage at that point. Give it a chance to get going. Having looked it up I realise I only got as far as 13 before I had to do life things; need to revisit it and finish it off.

  • Okay.
I'll admit to re-loading twice after being shot at, but when at the second time the shooter has no chance to see me whatsoever (duck back down the stairs) and shouts "there you are!" and shoots at me anyway, before shouting she's going to get her friends. Who then don't turn up until you've picked up the [spoiler], even if you wander around for 30 min. Just felt really badly done

  • Also, holy fuck someone should buy Ripley a pair of Adidas Boost! Call that running?!

  • Pretty sure I never completed the original on the dreamcast because of the controls.

  • yeah I do remember being frustrated by that. there are a few other bits that take you out of the magic, but it's generally quite tight once it gets going. the later set pieces are a lot more fluid.

  • Just finished Alien Isolation. The end is.... intresting...

There seems to be a set up for Isolation 2 however.

  • Not sure whether it's best o ask this here on in the PC tech thread but here goes.

I've finally had enough of my Naga and it's constantly reappearing double-click problem. It started out a little annoying but after a clean it would go away for a long enough period. I really like the shape and feel of the Naga which is probably why I've put up with it for so long however I cannot be bothered to keep stripping it. So I'm on the hunt for a replacement mouse but am fairly picky about what I like and want and so am not getting very far.

In no particular order things this mouse must do have:

    1. Be black
    2. No shitty 'gamer' lighting effects, or they must at least be able to be turned off.
    3. Wired
    4. Thumb buttons (when being a WoW recluse all the Naga buttons were keybound with modifiers, I've adapted quite nicely to using my thumb in this way and although the lower three were tricky to use 6-9 well placed thumb buttons would be nice.
    5. Reliable
    6. Adjustable sensitivity

Am I just basically describing another Naga or the Logitech G600?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Corsair do some with bloody loads of buttons.

  • Would anyone like a steam code for Gunstar Heroes, Renegade Ops & Viking: Battle for Asgard?

    DM me if you do.

  • Not quite sure how I'd neglected to include them in my search, the Scimitar looks like exactly what I'm after and has an adjustable thumbpad. Cheers!

  • Picked up THPS5 for the ps4, it's a flash back to the old school thps games.

Not had any bugs or glitches, the main issue is you ollie so bloody high, try to pop up a kerb and you launch 6ft in the air. Physics are ridiculous.
Never got on with Skate though, I quite like the cartoon hilarity of Tony hawks games.

  • Speaking of Skate. there is a "rumour" kicking around that a Skate.4 will be announced at E3 and come out 23/8/16. Here's hoping.

  • Just bought Shadow of Mordor GOTYE off Cd Keys for £6. Reviews were surprisingly good when it came out, and I need something to waste evening time on.

Now I wait for it to download....

  • Quickly going back to the Tomb Raider bashing, no fucking swan dive?!

  • Jesus, it's 42 gigs!

  • One does not simply download into Mordor.
