My Space Horse. Had this bike for almost a year now. Love it. Has done almost everything I've thrown at it with ease.

Looks great, I am thinking of putting a single chainring up front too. Does the medium cage derailleur work well with it?

never dropped the chain in the year or so I have been commuting on it - the narrow-wide ring is the key.

pedal recommendations... after leaving spds for a brief flutter with look road pedals I remember that I do too much hike-a-bike for roads shoes and am returning to mtb shoes.
Any recommendations on the best clipless mtb pedals for road riding, that offer the most support etc and aren't too heavy..?

I love these, have them on my best bike and they have been perfect. http://road.cc/content/review/16799-shimano-pda600-spd-pedal

TBH, the cheapest Shimano MTB pedals will do.
However, for a road-going SPD, my recommendation is the Shimano A600 pedals, look, and feel like a road pedals (it's weighted to clip in at an angle).
The difference lie in the shoes being able to support you effectively, like a full carbon soles for instance (Specialized S-Works MTB shoes is basically the same as the road one but with additional rubbers and mtb cleat slot).

Fuck me look at the fucking price!
That's about as much as my custom rack!

RRP is 119£ from ISON for the larger one... cheaper to wait a few days and buy from your LBS by the looks of things!

I'm toying with the idea of getting an Inbred 29er + ECR fork for touring. What do you guys think?

Currently looking at doing up my Genesis Day One as a more fun town bike with risers and a fixed rear wheel. One thing I'm struggling with is I'd really like a front porteur-style rack, but cant seem to find one that will obviously fit. Had a search on here and google but nothing that I'd be happy splashing the cash on only to find it doesn't fit.
FYI it's one of these but crucially the fork does not have the braze-ons half way up, not does it have eyelets at the front #tradingstandards
Any ideas?
Both same length, look like they cut it short, not sure why.
