You're trying to do a Talbot Frameworks style build - fine - but not with that frame. Its classic appeal clashes with the modern bling.

I'd give the B-Stay 6/10 (maybe 7) for looks as it, and 9.5 with deep carbon. Maybe 8.5 all original.

It's currently a toss up between a Mutant 1 1/8th with shim or some simple modern stem (again with shim)...

I have a Mutant with "Colnago" engraved in it. Looks shitty on a steel bike... I'm only putting stems on a steel bike that are in balance with the frame tubes (similar diameter): on my 30 mm tubed Master X Light an ITM Millenium looks great, on my 25 mm tubed Gios it looks awfull.
