• Right, I think I'm going to go for the CDF20. Unfortunately none of the lbs have them in stock so I need some INTERNET BIKEFITZ

My current road frame is a 56cm Cervelo 2007 soloist team (same geometry as an S1 (opens as .pdf)). This gives me a current stack of 560 and reach of 394. plus I run c.20mm of spacers and a 100mm stem.

Obviously my position on the CdF will want to be a lot more relaxed (I was thinking I'd possibly bring my bars up 10mm and back 10mm) but my reading of the CdF geometry table is that my reach would be a pretty good fit on the medium (10mm shorter than my road bike) but that the stack would be 33mm higher meaning that I'd only just achieve the correct position with the stem slammed and have no wriggle room for going any lower.

The alternative would be to go for the small CdF which has only 12mm more stack than my road bike and although it's also shorter, I could possibly make it work with a longer stem (110mm).

Which option makes more sense, and is moving the bars up and back 10mm each an appropriate adjustment from road to CX/touring?

At 6' I'm inclined to go with the medium as a small sounds a bit ridiculous.

    CdF Med
    stack: 593
    reach: 385

    CdF Small
