£50. You can get one direct from the importer, ASM is his name. He's in China so you need to call very late at night

Alot of knunts ride them with risers and a beanie which defeats the purpose.
Its purely an aesthetic decision which is alot of what cycling is based on anyway.Join the pool.

They're referred to a lot as 'Aerojokes' on the US fixeh scene. I think they look a bit shiddy, save your moneyz and get proper 'aero' wheels - Mavics, Corimas...hell, go full double disc setup. Even further, don't have wheels at all! Well, maybe not the last one, but Mavics and Corimas.

Hipsters using aerospokes? lolwut
They're not highly regarded because they're overpriced, heavy and don't perform better than normal wheels, a hed3 on the other hand would be a better choice as that is what you would want after a month or two with an aerojoke anyway. There is plenty of similar threads from people wondering if they should throw away that much money on a wheel and the answer has always been no, unless you get it from the elusive asm who gets them to you overnight for around fiddydorrah, no questions asked

Its just a phase. you'll get over it. Many people have trodden this path. Novelty wheels are great for IG pics but pretty embarrassing irl.

They look cool but weigh a tonne
The hub feels buttery and spin a long time
..Worth its weight on sunny daysDisclaimer: only had a front

i own a pair, got em supercheap in a swap, heavy yeah but its the only funny looking wheel that holds together when you ride hard all day as a messenger :)

Was about to reference this bike. Probably the exception that proves the rule about Aerospokes (looks-wise at least).
Had a search on mobile but didn't find anything much in the way of a discussion thread.
So, what do you think of them? I've been lusting over one as purely an aesthetic choice of wheel and opened a wtb thread. However, the responses I got suggested that they're not particularly highly regarded. So why the popularity? Are they more form over function? Do they have a place on a London beater?
