I can definitely recommend the praxis bb30 to 24 converter. Done about 5000km and no creak. Much better option than those plugs and bb30 bearings. But cost is around £50. Worth it though.
ive done over 5000km so far on current bb30 with no creak so thats hardly a glowing review for praxis converter, before that I had done 3oookm on a second hand bb30. No creak developed but I was upgrading a 2/3 year old groupset.
has anyone who says bb30 creaks actually ridden bb30?
I'd like to note that at no point did I say bb30 creaks...
To clarify, calling the praxis a 'better option' is down to the easy installation and maintenance of it. Keeping in mind that I've never installed bb30 bearings, this just looked a cleaner solution than some plugs.
