You're better off taking it to a reputable LBS that have all the necessary tools to removed bottom bracket.
Unless you think the £15 labour is prohibitively expensive.
What are the necessary tools? I'm not averse to paying for someone to do it if I have to, but generally prefer to do these sorts of things myself.
You seem to have the tools but ended up posting which is why you pay £15...
You might have the wrong splined tool, I can't remember which is which.
