Been watching that for ages, bloody love it.
I'd quite like to do an engine swap myself at some point but insurance would be an absolute nightmare at my age. A turbo'd Yamaha r1 engine in the front would be off the hook and not too hard to execute, even manage mechanical reverse gear with the Promotive gearbox.
Found out my Gran had empty garage space in London... One phone call later and I had the keys so it's time for a project.
Cheap as chips 1976 leyland mini 850 with a fair bit of rust on it. Went to view it and most of the major bits including subs and sills were solid so I went for it.
Lucky I can weld, going to try and do all the work myself to see if I can manage.
Much excitement.
