I was recommended these by my LBS to fit 6800 cranks to my CAAD10. Anyone else used them?

I've heard that the praxis one is the best solution for running a shimano crank. Praxis offer the BB/adapter as one, rather than two separate things.
I'd try these, and if they result in squeaks and creaks then go for something more industrial strength.
I can definitely recommend the praxis bb30 to 24 converter. Done about 5000km and no creak. Much better option than those plugs and bb30 bearings. But cost is around £50. Worth it though.
