Almost felt sorry for the guy on a fairly new looking Fuji last night who had already jumped a few red lights and was drifting from side to side. He then popped onto the pavement to beat the buses which were queued at the lights as you come onto E&C to go south. Suddenly there was a loud bang and his front wheel had punctuated as he hopped back off the pavement. Didn't look like the sort of chap to have tools/pump/inner tube. Would/should have stopped but it was hammering it down and I already have a cold plus the fact he had almost taken me and a few others out when he cut left to right.
