  • The only reason I'm actually considering the hideous things is hand/arm fatigue during a 2-3 week race with mega descents. Read lots of TransAm reports about people struggling to even change gears by the end of it.

  • Discs also self adjust, so saves you having to adjust. Also they last for ever, so no need to change pads.

  • Basically one less thing to worry about.

    Even Mike managed to stay on the same pads for the entire circumnavigation of the globe.
