yep I am going to give it a couple more years to let discs in my life (again).
The only reason I'm actually considering the hideous things is hand/arm fatigue during a 2-3 week race with mega descents. Read lots of TransAm reports about people struggling to even change gears by the end of it.
You need it. Have you written off Datum then?
Discs also self adjust, so saves you having to adjust. Also they last for ever, so no need to change pads.
