It aimed to be more shootemup, with a engaging story in it.

I quite like it tho, except for the lack of subtitles on the audio logs which riled me up sometime rotten (can only listen via transcript via the in game menu).

Ahhh, I see, kinda, just feels quite on rails to me.
Grabbed that Post Valentines day special off Steam so looking forward to some Golden Axe.
Big fan of steam, tempted by the controller, anyone using one? Think it has been talked bout before but....

Do it. I got a cheap xbox controller from ebay. Make sure you get the one that's compatible with Windows though (still works on mac).
