His internet connection doesn't keep breaking, it has this time, but there's always something. He is over 70 and doesn't understand how computers work. PC's are a pain to maintain even if you know what you're doing, he has no idea.

Get him a Chromebook if he keeps breaking shit. Or a tablet. Let us know how long it takes before it's no longer connecting to the web. Then we can work out the support costs of PC vs. chrometabbook
