Mrs Savage has got a Peugeot 107 five door. The rear passenger door seals can fail which can be taken off and reseated easily. The soaking boot is more likely to be caused by the high level brake light seal. You can take that light unit out and use use a smear of roofing sealant or similar to make good the seal. The oil leak could simply be damage to the oil filter or sump getting blown about under the car. I doubt it's terminal unless it has run completely dry.
The clutch is a cable jobby with an adjuster on the top rear of the engine. It is a bit of a squeeze to get you hand in the gap but if you're an amateur gynaecologist you'll manage. It doesn't take much adjustment to make a difference but I managed to re-adjust mine back to normal from what I thought was a knackered clutch.
I think your dealer is trying it on. -

It's acknowledged, but we just don't talk about it.
Other than Concorde and gin, it's probably one of the greatest achievements known to mankind.

My local main dealer charge £60 an hour for investigative work, so that's not abnormal

Also investigating an oil leak needs man hours and workshop time, so fair enough

Thanks for all the advice, folks. Much appreciated. Think Mrs Sparky's panic on the phone was infectious, not helped by fact that I was away from home. Went to drive it this morning and found clutch was slipping. Couldn't see an oil leak.
I'd keep driving it or fix the clutch cheap, but Mrs Sparky has now got the fear. Wouldn't let it be driven anywhere!
So this morning we traded it in for a decent amount and bought a Corsa. When it comes to cars she's the boss. I never drive it.

Jesus Christ though, a Corsa?

Hey, it goes, it stops, she's happy. Waddyagonnado?
Also does it actually need a new clutch or is the dealer being a dick?
Quick Google suggests it's the rear light gaskets that leak, or the 3rd brake light gasket.
That sorta shit you can do yourself!
