That is so, so good, and a million times better than I thought it would be.

awesome build!

Wow. love the paint job
Needs front rack as its a butchers bike though
-
• #183
would you really risk the paint?
-
• #184
absolutely ideal! fatter tyres n longer stem plz
-
• #185
Probably not.
I can't really take any credit for this build at all. All I did was gather the parts.
The paintwork is beautiful - Ali really is a master of his craft.

This is totally amazing.

Tyres are 32c's. Haven't ridden anything so big since my ancient 26" MTB many years ago.
-
• #188
ohhh fair enough! I don't know why I thought they were ~25. Plush.
-
• #189
You can fit 35's do that ;)

It's the frame proportion I reckon (large tubes an all).
I have 28mm on my Gangsta but they look tiny.

• #191
What rims is that actually? doesn't look like Archetype...
-
• #192
Can't remember - I got them from @DoktorPepe. They were the wheels on his build.
-
• #193
A23's

I will with the next set of tyres that get purchased.
Can't get over how comfortably spongy 32's are at 65/70 PSI.
-
• #195
Bike looks fantastic, I'll take it back then you had enough, thank you :)
-
• #196
Try them at 55/60
-
• #197
Ha!
*this one's a keeper...
-
• #198
Drop it to 55/60, I always described it like cruising in a big leather armchair.

I had a spin about on it yesterday and it's lovely. It's rather like an old Jaguar for comfort, but a Lotus for manoeuvrability.

The only car I've ever driven was a Mercedes 190, so I don't know what you mean, but hope it's a thumbs up.
Very special.
Only 3 Scoblebricks though...
