My wife has a battered gold coloured seiko kinetic thing (her dad got it off eBay and she requisitioned it)
Had it a good few years and it was a good few old when she got it.
Doesn't seem to want to hold a Charge so guessing the battery/ capacitor is shot
Are these easy to replace yourself? (hamfisted muggle)
Or should I go somewhere independent and reputable to get it switched out?
These are very easy and cheap to do, and the replacement will be superior to the original thanks to improvements in technology. Google and eBay will get you all the info and parts you need.
