I like columbus max.

Mack
This. Have him build whatever you want, exactly to the spec. Should be around ~£120

Working on mud flaps. Not sure about the shape

looks huge

Maybe cut them down like this?
Or would that influence the effectiveness too much.
-

Yes that does look better. Thank you Tijs.
Min looks like a beaver tail. Platypus is better :-) -

Hey Amey, I'm having similar issues myself (trying to get 42mm fixed chainline on a 135 hub)
Are you looking to run fixed with a disc brake aswell?
-
• #106359
Serious business, looking good. I'd imagine wider mudflap will make more difference up front.
-
• #106360
yep .. looking into asymmetric BB shell as a possibility the only real test out there is 'will I die?'
How do belt drive folk do it?
-
• #106361
They are currently the same front and back. Haven't installed the mud guards yet...

looking into asymmetric BB shell
So that you can have asymmetric Q factor? Sounds like a plan*
*a plan to enrich orthopaedic surgeons.
-
• #106363
Mr Q-factor himself currently has an asymmetric Q-factor setup.
-
• #106365
Probably not quite that much.
-
• #106366
Yeah, I was just thinking that your original non-shopped version looked appealing for (assumed) extra spray protection in the front.

i have no idea what I am doing .jpg
in my non engineer brain I am thinking on those lines yes. Is that a good/bad solution? Compared to BB spacers ..

Also, can I use 6800 non drive arm with XTR 172.5mm cranks? Is that a good idea?
-
• #106372
That was last year, but you're right. I do have a new project...
😁

mid season setup with paselas. Going to be 600-700grams lighter in a month with new wheels and tyres (novatec, revo, velocity blunt sl ss + compass barlow pass tubeless)

Love it, particularly the matchy decal job you've done on the fork. Infinite improvement on Enve's tribal-tatt-inspired abomination of a logo.
For fairly obvious reasons, a hub with a fixed sprocket on one side and a disc brake on the other is a not a high-demand item :-)
