Nah, I didn't have any tool, wanted to know which to buy that was hopefully <£25.
Picked up a cheap BB130 on eBay though so I will now splash out on a ring! -

I'm in!
We'll see about that when it's priced :-)
Any other interest? Unlikely to be under £50

Do you have any of the lockrings left in 1.290" made from 6082T6?

Hi @mdcc_tester
Been meaning to ask: did you ever bother to make any bling rings for
M33×1.0mm LH (Mavic)
?
I have a Mavic piste pair and as the ordinary lockings in this thread are hard to come by I thought I may as well have a spare one in your design ...

No, because nobody asked me to. I could get one made, but it would be horribly expensive.

Fair enough!

Came across this picture and thought of your lockring, @mdcc_tester:
Do you know of this? The picture was associated with this website: http://www.hypergrace.org.
Probably doesn't fit smaller cogs (12T for example) like yours does.

Disregarding the colour(s) and typography of course.

Do you know of this?
I hadn't seen that one, but I know mine is not the first lock ring to use the BB tool interface.

Any other interest in the tool? It's not worth doing if it's just two of us.

Do you use a 3/32" chain whip?

I sold my 1/8" but in the context of a £50 lockring tool, another one would be small beer.
Not in the near future, but I still have a few made in 6082T6 rather than 7075T6, both threadings. I've been using one all year on my TT bike. Since most hubs are made from 6000 series alloys, they're probably still at least as strong as the hub.
