If the friend/relative is genuine then they will still be able to see the thread if it is made private.
Perhaps it would just be better to move the thread out of the Rider Down forum but still keep it public as some of the disclosure could be relevant.
Fingers crossed she makes a full recovery and that he learns to express some remorse.

Right, I don't know what, if anything, can be done for the above thread. The only thing I can think of is to move it to Private, but it would probably be shutting the stable door after the horse has bolted. It's just that it is now quite a lot of the things we didn't want 'Rider Down' threads to be.
