What's the attachment to 6800 cranks? Bodging a custom bike around them seems excessive...

Why not get XT/XTR version for 135 fixed disc bike?

ha! I dont really care about the accuracy. Its cheap and its piss easy to swap between bikes.

If its down to using spacers at BB would a cheaper hub like this work?

The rest 2 bikes have 6800.

No lockring thread... Trials bikes tend to have the freewheel on the cranks to keep the weight balanced.

Hmm what are my options then? Surly and Phil? And will need to use BB spacers to get the right chainline?

Yes, but not with a rear disc brake.

You want fixed - threaded or bolt on is fine? Do you want a brake on the back or not?

Edit: seen your edit. Fixed + disc brake it is. Phil or Surly are otb options. Track down a Surly Fixxer (or whatever the alternative is in the TT world...) and convert a basic shimano (or other) hub...

Realised it and edited. Rear brake is essential. cc/ @andy_k

Saw and edited my edit. Think a Fixxer allows some adjustment to the chainline, could be wrong, @mdcc_tester might be able to confirm...

Brad Bingham @ Eriksen was kind enough to chop two DT 350 hubshells in half, then spend several hours massaging them back together with a wider axle. That's the foundation, and from there it got complicated.

Hope BB + spacers + 6800 will work then?

130mm Surly has a 47.5mm chainline, you have 1mm of adjustment with the Hope BB so you'll be half a mm out.

But they don't do a 130mm disc/free hub? so that leaves you with 135mm and mtb chainline...

I have trials hubs on my pompetamine sscx. With a freewheel the chainline is around 46mm. I cant use the disc mount for fixed gear riding with my road cranks though.

I like the hubs; cheap, light and easy to change bearings.
