All I know is I need a HT shorter than 180mm, which I've already said the Datum has.
To compensate for the 395mm length fork.
The Datum in 56cm is only 6mm lower than the Domane in 56cm despite having a shorter headtube (20mm).
This is why it's best not to simply relied on headtube length as they don't always quite measured out the same.
Because headtube length isn't the best way to measure it, due to the difference in bottom bracket height and fork length.
Bike like the Datum for instance have a CX length fork, bike like the Domane have a near standard length fork, meaning you can't really compared the headtube length between those two model.
Best way to measure the height, is using the stack from the stack and reach measurment (the stack are much more accurate and able to fine-tune your handlebar position).
