Man City gave us more respect than Leicester, we didn't perform attacking wise as well as we can, passes misplaced, or dropped short, the link up play between our forwards not quite coming off, looked bereft of attacking ideas, but we did everything else really well, pressed high, won the ball back in dangerous areas, looked solid for the most part in defence, thought Walker had a shocker, Wimmer looked like a bit of a unit, Lloris had nothing much to do. Kane ran all over but didn't see much of the ball.
Feels so much like a smash and grab.
Thought the penalty was dodge when I first saw it, and nothing else I've seen has changed that. Ref can't give that surely. Obviously I'll take it, and lots of supporters trotting out the big decisions that have gone against us over the last decade or so, with the platitude that it all evens out over the season. Wouldn't make me sleep at night if it had been given against us.
