Got the big plasticky Yamaha plumbed in to my Q-acoustics 2020i speakers and plugged the little Yamaha bluetooth thingy in. iphone and mac picked it up and connected straight away no bother at all and it sounds good. Loads of volume too.
I'm not going to make any snap judgements on the sound just yet as i've got used to listening on Adam A5x studio monitors of late and they are very revealing. Esp in the treble.
Learned a neat trick to switch audio outputs from the mac too, add vol control to toolbar then jut alt+vol icon and you can select between output devices. Makes a/b ing mixes between the two systems very easy. Dead happy with this actually.
