Mate, if it wasn't for aesthetic considerations you'd be absolutely fine with anything from a Cambridge Audio Topaz (plus Phono Stage) to the Yamaha or the more esoteric ebay options -

The older audiolab is fine too. But don't overthink! Buy amp, listen to sounds.
