  • that is a fucking good looking bike

  • The black ones, obviously.

  • What is that aero spider? Don't think I've ever seen than before!
    Vote +1 for spidering.

  • Why the sudden rethink of tyre clearance on the new frames?
To appeal to people who need or prefer a comfier ride?

Surely anything over 28c starts to get heavy and therefor slow? and this is still a race bike, isn't it?

But anyway, it looks awesome. Spider ring please!

  • Nicely done. You forgot to replace a few of the silver chain links though, just above the rear derailleur. ;)

  • I should have been a little clearer - currently these are 25's in the picture - I think a 30 should fit nicely!

I do agree, but those 30c Challenge Strada Bianca just look too good to be true!

  • @swedeee Thank you!- I'm trying!!
@Acliff I saw it on eBay and just imagined how brilliant it would look with some QXL rings or something equally stupid!
    @BareNecessities ok!
I'm undecided between traditional drops or the superlogic Logic II currently on there. I'm used to traditional drops on the Trek, so maybe it would be wise to stick with them here?

  • This whole BB30 thing is messing with my head - if you've put the circlips in can you press the bearings in too far?

Why do I have space on the drive side?!!?!?!

    Grrrrrrraaaaaa

  • 6.4kg as is

  • Kraken (scoble) will be unleashed soon

  • Don't fuck around get strada bianca

  • @Dick Not a massive fan of the bars but otherwise is super nice. Serious crank envy.

  • how many washers, springy things and spacers have you got? You shouldn't be able to push them in too far...

  • Im not sure about the bars either, i got them as a package with all the other ritchey kit - theyre light as chuff but ive never particularly enjoyed ergo bars - think ill pick up some TB next week.

  • think i need to throw in a few more of the 1mm plastic spacers - need to deconstruct and reconstruct anyway to tighten up the lockring on the spider to the correct torque, may pop down to LBS for help!

  • I have some older ritchey ergo ones on my caad9, I find them comfortable enough but they look funny and I'm too lazy to change them.

  • BB30 problems, I've been lucky with it so far. Less so with pf30 on my mountainbike, all kinds of skullfuckery.

  • Im not sure about the bars either

Rotating them slightly might look better:

Edit: Like the ones on @Velodouche 's 'Dale.

  • I'm still not a fan of mine just too lazy/skint (bought a disc for my trackie) to do anything about it.

  • i am going to have to buy one of these. looks great

edit: i am going to sleep on it and order it tomorrow. @dick do you have any more pictures?

  • Picked up some black vinyl sheet today. Gonna have a play around with blacking off some of the green on the SS Evo HM (2015) fork - don't like the green on white much. Will post pics if it doesn't look terrible.

  • Mate, I wouldn't look too closely. There's a few random spokes and some very dodgy disc rotors up close. And the tyres are a bodge.
@Dick your bike is looking ace.
