My hoover vacuum cleaner just sputtered on starting, went for a few seconds, sputtered some more, made horrible smells. It's a bagless cylinder Vax job, done well for several years. If a spare part motor can be sourced, is it relatively easy to replace? Or better off just buying a new machine?
