I've had great results from my XA shooting from the bike during group rides, 400 film and F5.6 seems to be pretty forgiving.
I just don't seem to have the same success with the D3, shame as when I nail the focus (like in the evil dog picture) it's an awesome wee camera.
Also Poundland Vista greens (2nd and 3rd image) are intense.

Perhaps the agfa will make a good bikecam.
It's incredibly heavy: probably quite drop-proof.

Haha super scary isn't a commonly used description for a beagle. In focus isn't a common description of my Pen D3 shots!

I got these from a guy called Cord Weaver on ebay, made in small cord and great size for P+S cameras. I pull the camera out of the back pocket by the cord and haven't drop anything yet!

Funny you should post that. I've just bought some paracord and a few tripod-thread eyelet things to the same effect. The agfa has it's thread-mount on the side.

N00b question. I picked up one of these disposable cameras on a whim because I used to shoot Ilford HP5 when I was in college, but I was also developing it myself.
Can I just take this in to a regular photo developing place? I haven't shot film in years.

It's not as black-and-white as all that.

It's not a silly question but it is one for your photo developing place. Not everywhere does black and white and many that say they do actually send it away.

ah okay, I'll pop in and ask the question then.
Cheers.

Would really like to use a medium format for a project. 645 format rather than square...
Any recommendations? Also, I'd like to use a normal focal length (35-50mm in 35 equiv) so would that be 65-90mm?
Lenses don't need to be fast – I'll be shooting at f/11 or thereabouts. -

I use a mamiya 645 1000s and have yielded some excellent results. I've got a 50mm and an 80 mm, which is close to a 28mm and 50mm.

Yeah, I've been looking at those on t'bay. They go quite cheap with the 80mm 2.8
Does that lens vignette much stopped-down?
-
• #11265
Mamiya 645 is indeed great value for money.
The 80 / 2.8 doesn't vignette noticably when stopped down. -

Looks great. Good idea. I think i'll do the same. Another reason to buy more cameras :)

As if we needed any more reasons!

Good to know! I'll hopefully pull the trigger on one soon. Aiming to start in April/May so no rush.

Cheers man, I love playing with these old things and they motivate me to learn more about photography.... keeps it fresh without spending tons of cash.
I try and shoot stopped down on zone focus-cameras. f8 is the aim – which limits it's use in England in February!
The agfa (again like an xa2) is automated and doesn't display aperture, so again... more guessing.
I'd like to try an Electro35 (GX probably) or Canon QL at some point.
