Should all ex-pro's who rode through the EPO years not have jobs in cycling post retirement ? Plenty of ex-pros run training camps and lend their name to bike/accessory companies.
Or is it ok if the ex-pro didn't get busted and didn't spit in the soup ?A lot of the vitriol directed at Millar is nothing to do with his past, seems more to do with a personal dislike.
I was talking to a mate who agreed that Millar's career has been perfectly timed so that he lived through and benefited from the EPO years. Then came back all sad just as cycling was getting big in the UK and retired just in time to lead £4k mamil weekend retreats in Majorca and slap his name on "artisan" bike shit aimed at aforementioned mamils.
