There's always a maybe. Wait. What was the topic? I was just trying to join-in. Big love Mr. Schick...

Got the train which made me 30 minutes late, it just sat outside London Bridge Station.Train dued went on a full rant much giggles. To many peds for my liking headsdown looking at phones. Asked the hi-viz mob if they could move back to the ASL box rather then stopping on the ped crossing. Not one bother to move. Shrugged and moved on.
Am no good on foot.

This was always a non-starter, surely...

True, was being grumpy just wanted to cross the road not weave between them.

Keys out and slash a tyre on the way past?

Tyre got raped by a pothole, so a rather defeated subway journey with the bike to work at 6:30am

Dat Headwind.....
-
• #11439
Yeah, rare to get a morning headwind for me.
Also, nice surprise to see it was half term.
-
• #11440
I gave up trying to fight the headwind and trundled. Happy half-term all!

Is that what it is!
Half term!I rolled out my house this morning and didn't see another car or human for the first 1km.
I convinced myself that the clocks had gone back and I hadn't noticed and it was actually 6:15. -

A cold, but sunny and relatively wind free commute on the tourer with training gear on the back.
A persistent knocking sound led me to check my chainring bolts...3 were loose, 1 quite loose. Also really need to change gear cable and rear brake pads.

Yep, a good one on the whole spoilt only by RLJs at various points inc one goon on a Brompton who shot between stood-still cyclists in a box and would have seriously injured a small child had the child chosen to step out. They do that children.... I've noticed....maybe he had no kids. Maybe he will never have kids after his nuts have been crushed under a parents boot...it's only a matter of time......

This morning watched some muppet lose a large piece of panel board off the roof of their car. Luckily no one was nearby when it clattered to the ground but who drives around with a massive panel on their roof and doesn't tie the front down to stop the wind tearing it off? Fucking idiots out there, everywhere.

Had to carry out a rather unceremonious half bunny-hop, half desperate leap onto the pavement when a HGV switched for right to left lane without indicating or looking, going south down Commercial street this AM.
Made my feelings clear but not a fuck was given by the bloke... crap!
nice apart from that... great to have a tail wind!

Shit - is that what it was? I thought I'd discovered the secret to speed - 3 pints o' bitter and bottle of Prosecco yesterday. I was really looking forward to repeating as required. Bollox.
Maybe they were Oliver. Probably? Maybe...
