• It is with great reluctance that I am parting with my beautiful Diamant Pista, but I've got a tiny flat and a road bike project in the offing, so it must go! I've had it for a number of years, having imported the frame from Holland (its got a Vlot & Winters sticker on it). It has always been a joy to ride. Not certain of the tubing as it has been resprayed before my time, but it is very light for a steel track bike, to the point that it is regularly commented on when taken in to bike shops for work.

I would describe the condition as good, though not pristine as it has been used at times as a commuter, so it has paint chips and one small dent in the TT (pictured) though this is small and not really noticeable. The bike cleans up really well and the paint, in the parlance of our times, 'pops'. I've failed to clean it properly before taking pictures, I will get round to cleaning and updating pics.

    Specifics below:

57cm Diamant Pista, neon orange, not certain of tubing but very light with a columbus drilled front fork.
Dura Ace Front hub onto Campag Omega rim with track skewer Miche Primato Front hub onto rare Campag Omega V rim
Miche Primato Rear hub onto Araya rim with Dura Ace 16t sprocket
    Dura Ace headset
    Campag Record Pista BB
    Thomson seatpost Tioga seatpost (27.0)
    3TTT stem
    Miche Primato cranks
MKS Sylvian Track pedals and Aurora straps brand new unbranded straps (virtually identical to the Aurora ones)
BLB cut down riser bars with Condor grips
Goldfinger brake lever with dual pivot front brake (not sure what this is but believe relatively high end Shimano)
    Black Turbo saddle
    Izumi Chain
Gatorskin tyres with loads of life left.

I'm based just off Hackney Rd so happy to meet in that area.

    615 - 580 - 500 - Pricedrop to £415 NEW THREAD STARTED WITH LOWER PRICE

  • Interested in the bike, particularly the frame it's pretty nice.

Not sure how you got to that price though, components aren't particularly special. Could you give a breakdown of components vs price to give so as to see where you're coming from.

Those forks aren't askew are they?

  • I'd argue the parts are all relatively high quality, the exceptions probably being the rear wheel and the cranks.

Pricewise, I wasn't sure exactly where to put it, so prepared to believe I've gone in a bit high. If you are interested I would consider reasonable offers.

Forks aren't askew, I think it must just be the angle in the pics.

  • Pricedrop

  • Big pricedrop - slight change of plan. I've swapped out the front wheel for a track one, same rim, radially laced onto Primato track hub. Taken off the Thomson seatpost and swapped in a Tioga one (very similar weight, looks very similar) and will swap out the straps for new non branded ones and have dropped the price by £80

  • I should add the second pic is how it is now set up...

  • Would you sell the frame separately? If so, please dm.
And are you willed to post to Germany?

    Thanks

  • Ideally would prefer to keep it together at the moment, though that may change...

  • How much posted with concur saddle to scotland?

  • I understand, if you ever change youre mind, I´ll probably take it (depending on price etc...)

  • Hey seafish, don't want to post as yet and am unfortunately using the Concor saddle on another bike

  • Another pic of current build added

  • .

  • Right big pricedrop to 415, a great price for a decent summer ride. If I get no interest at this price here I will shortly remove it from sale and put it up on eBay for more money.

  • What ratio is it?

  • 48 x 16
