Yeah - depends on the bike, fuel injection rather fucks with bump starting. I could bump my TL1000s with a low battery by bumping it and hitting the starter at the same time. Later generation EFI not so accommodating.
Don't know if they're as good as they used to be (mine are 10 now) but Halford's professional were fucking great tools...wait for one of their sales and scoop up a big set.
