It is with great reluctance that I am parting with my beautiful Diamant Pista, but I've got a tiny flat and a road bike project in the offing, so it must go! I've had it for a number of years, having imported the frame from Holland (its got a Vlot & Winters sticker on it). It has always been a joy to ride. Not certain of the tubing as it has been resprayed before my time, but it is very light for a steel track bike, to the point that it is regularly commented on when taken in to bike shops for work.
I would describe the condition as good, though not pristine as it has been used at times as a commuter, so it has paint chips and one small dent in the TT (pictured) though this is small and not really noticeable. The bike cleans up really well and the paint, in the parlance of our times, 'pops'. I've failed to clean it properly before taking pictures, I will get round to cleaning and updating pics.
Specifics below:
57cm Diamant Pista, neon orange, not certain of tubing but very light with a columbus drilled front fork. Dura Ace Front hub onto Campag Omega rim with track skewer Miche Primato Front hub onto rare Campag Omega V rim
Miche Primato Rear hub onto Araya rim with Dura Ace 16t sprocket
Dura Ace headset
Campag Record Pista BB Thomson seatpost Tioga seatpost (27.0)
3TTT stem
Miche Primato cranks
MKS Sylvian Track pedals and Aurora straps brand new unbranded straps (virtually identical to the Aurora ones)
BLB cut down riser bars with Condor grips
Goldfinger brake lever with dual pivot front brake (not sure what this is but believe relatively high end Shimano)
Black Turbo saddle
Izumi Chain
Gatorskin tyres with loads of life left.
I'm based just off Hackney Rd so happy to meet in that area.
