This. What would you say is the main cause of homelessness / poverty in your city? Maybe try to help in a small way with that, rather than hitting people who are already down.
Btw I don't assume that you are rich, many people cycle partly because it is cheap, I for one consider my bike to be essential to my livelihood. But in the end, if you have work, and a roof, you're doing better than these tweakers. (on hearing that word at first I thought you meant hipsters who kept tweaking their moustaches)
