edit : I have a praxis bb30-shimano adaptor BB that I was planning to sell - I'm assuming that's no use?

it comes with 24mm ID bearings. 3DF is 30mm, right?

Inverse shim time

I'm betraying my lack of knowledge on the subject, but what is an inverse shim? Sounding pretty complicated. 3DF is definitely 30mm but can you expand on what I need to do a bit more?

You need to fit an inverse shim to the 3DF cranks so they fit the Praxis BB.

Simple.
