Belts need consistent and quite high tension - possibly & you'll need an expert here - to the point where it will compress the suspension and slacken itself off.
Save yourself the pain and use a chain?

the rest of the frame is actually pretty straightforward. Even after 52 yrs suspension and frame seems remarkably solid.
but i think belt drive might be a tad optimistic.
I'm building up a moulton F Frame, and am considering fitting a belt drive on it, but I have zero experience of building them. As far as I can tell it should be straightforward - particularly as the moulton's rear fork has no seat stay, so no frame mods need to be made, however i have a few questions:
