Pre/power or both (non-master vol amp)? Something to cut through could help if you've really go nowhere to go. I suppose squarewaves are technically 'louder' :D

Have you thought of the Mesa Boogie V twin pedal?
It has 3 channels Clean, Blues (crunchy) and Lead. You can set them either as Clean-Lead or Blues-Lead with the footswitch. Has full EQ, Gain, Master, Presence
